ONKA Company was founded in 1992, based in Dobrzyń over Vistula river. It’s main activity is a production of deep frozen fruits and vegetables in factories located in Dobrzyń, Włocławek and Koszalin where are fertile soils and very good climatic and agrarian conditions for growing fruits and vegetables destined for processing on base of a natural resource. Farmers supplying a raw material to ONKA are obligated to deliver goods on base of long term contracts, what helps to keep solid quality from the beginning.

It’s employment of 50 workers is increasing in a season to 480 people extra. There is a production hall and a coldstore with a freezing tunnel for vegetables and fruits and also 2 storages for 1400 tons in Dobrzyń. In Koszalin are: a storage for 8 000 tons, 4 freezers for 20 tons each and 2 fluidizing freezing tunnels with a capacity of 5 tons of frozen fruits per 1 hour. Włocławek division is ready to store 1500 tons of frozen products. There is also fluidizing freezing tunnel with a capacity of 2,5 tons per hour.
Main ONKA’s products are frozen fruits and vegetables put in big packagers, due to demands of producers of jams, juices, fruit pulps and for dairy and bakery sector.
Approx 50% of a total production is selling goods to European Community countries. The rest of goods is finding buyers in Russia, USA, Canada and Arabian countries.
As the biggest producer of strawberry and cherry, keeping a high quality and an excellent taste of all products, with an accompaniment of a modern technology, ONKA has guaranteed constant demand and a credit of trust of domestic and foreign clients.
