PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS
TRICOGEL medical material is composed of:
knitted polyester double velour prosthesis with hydrophilic surface,
porcine pharmaceutical gelatin.
TRICOGEL prostheses are characterized by:
intraoperative tightness,
zero preclotting,
hydrophilia promoting immediate moistening of the surface of the prosthesis with the patients blood,
low rigidity when dry, vanishing after a contact with fluids (blood),
internal and external velour promoting the tissue ingrowth on the prosthesis,
thin wall,
diameter retention,
high mechanical strength,
low mass,
no fraying at cut ends including different angels,
easy handling,
clear marking line.
IMPREGNATION
Porcine pharmaceutical Type A gelatin used in TRICOGEL prostheses holds Health Certificate Nor 27/01 and conforms to the Polish Standard PN 93A/82245.
The manufacturer of the gelatin and the manufacturing process are monitored by the veterinary office.
